
Joseph Capobianco

Joseph Capobianco was a partner at Reisman Peirez Reisman & Capobianco LLP, a well-established Garden City firm which he joined in September 1991. In April 2023, Joe formed Capobianco & Associates to continue his diverse legal practice founded on delivering results in a cost-efficient and timely manner with a commonsense approach. Joe has over 35 years of experience in handling various types of litigation in federal and state court, commercial, corporate, bankruptcy and real estate law.
Joe also currently serves as a Glen Cove City Court Judge. He previously served on the Glen Cove City Council for six years which ended in 2019 when he became City Court Judge. He served as a Director of the Nassau Health Care Corporation, the operator of the Nassau County Medical Center in East Meadow and on the Board of Managers for the Glen Cove YMCA. Capobianco frequently lectures before various professional associations and community organizations. Joe remains true to his goal of offering knowledge, experience, and vigorous representation resulting in unmatched service to his clients.

Glenn Forstner

Each of the stops in Glenn Forstner’s legal career has afforded him the opportunity to hone his varied and diverse legal skills as a seasoned litigator. Glenn devoted the early part of his career working almost exclusively in the areas of matrimonial and family law where he developed a keen understanding of the intricacies involved in such emotional proceedings. He earned a Super Lawyers designation as a matrimonial attorney and represented individuals in diverse matrimonial proceedings from those involving high net worth individuals to pro bono cases. He negotiated and prepared all agreements required in matrimonial and family court matters such as pre-nuptial, separation, settlement, and custody agreements. Glenn has litigated matters involving complex marital estates with complicated valuation issues as well as custody issues.
A number of years ago, while continuing to work on matrimonial and family law matters, Glenn joined the commercial litigation department at Reisman Peirez Reisman & Capobianco LLP, a long-established Garden City firm. In that additional capacity, Glenn represented commercial entities and individuals in all aspects of civil litigation in federal, state and appellate courts. Glenn’s commercial practice has included complex litigation against public entities, a federal action involving a major securities fraud, breach of fiduciary duties cases and partnership and shareholder disputes.
Glenn is a resident of Lake Success and is a member of the Lake Success Mayor’s Advisory Council.

Jerome Reisman
In Memoriam
Jerome Reisman headed the Firm’s Business and Financial Services practice groups. Mr. Reisman’s work encompassed Loan Documentation, Factoring, Asset Based Lending, Fintech and Cash Advance Documentation, Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights, Medical, Dental and Business Transactions, Litigation, Corporate and Financial Fraud, and Asset Protection.
Jerry was frequently seen in the media as a legal commentator, has been quoted in major publications and lectured extensively to the legal community on business and financial matters. He has also represented numerous victims of Bernie Madoff.
A graduate of Queens College and Syracuse University Law School, Reisman was admitted to the New York Bar in 1967.
Jerry Reisman resided in North Hills. He served as Justice for the Village of North Hills. Previously, he used his legal expertise to serve the Village of Great Neck as Judge, Deputy Mayor, Chairman of the Zoning Board of Appeals, and Member of the Planning Board.
